JEONGMIN KIM
(Executive Director, Korea Risk Group)
Jeongmin Kim is Executive Director at Korea Risk Group, based in Seoul. She covers inter-Korean relations and North and South Korean foreign and military affairs. Kim has covered the 2022 ROK presidential election on the ground, and prior to joining NK News, she worked for the CSIS Korea Chair in Washington D.C. and Reuters news agency’s Seoul bureau.
SHREYAS REDDY
(Lead Correspondent, Korea Risk Group)
Shreyas Reddy is the Lead Correspondent at NK News, based in Seoul. He previously worked as a researcher at BBC Monitoring, where his work focused on news and key people and organizations from the Korean Peninsula, Japan, Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
Tianran Xu is a Senior Analyst for Open Nuclear Network (ONN), a programme of PAX sapiens. Tianran focuses on North East Asian security and missile systems. He analyses photos, videos and satellite imagery to understand nuclear and missile programmes.

Joost Oliemans is a defense analyst specializing in North Korea’s military capabilities. He co-authors the widely read Oryx blog and, together with Stijn Mitzer, wrote The Armed Forces of North Korea: On the Path of Songun, one of the most detailed English-language studies of the DPRK’s military. His work focuses on conflict analysis, arms proliferation, and regional security, and has been featured across international outlets and research platforms.
